Freestyle Tri - April Group Road Ride

Come join us for a great morning group ride on one of our favorite rides in Marin! Tentative ride route here–we'll climb from Endurance PTC up to 4 Corners, descend Hwy 1 to Muir Beach and continue along the coast through Stinson up to Fairfax-Bolinas Road, ride along the Seven Sisters, then up to Mt. Tam Summit if you're feeling up for it before heading back down to Endurance. Don't worry...we plan to do a quick pitstop at the Parkside Cafe in Stinson for a refuel (pastries highly recommended).

WHAT TO EXPECT 

This is a self-supported group ride. There will be athletes at every level, so a few smaller groups of riders may form. No matter what, download the route to your GPS computer (or study the map!) so you know where the route is taking us, just in case you get separated.

The ride itself will take anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on your speed/how much you're trying to show off. The route is iconic and extremely cyclist-friendly, but please keep your eye on the road and ride single file/on the shoulder where it's safe to do so.

We're very lucky to have our friends from Precision Fuel & Hydration supplying gels, chews, and electrolyte mix for our ride! Bring some fuel from your own stash, but feel free to grab anything you need to stay carbed up and well-hydrated. No bonking allowed.

And of course, there will be amazing post-ride treats, coffee, and a giveaway from Vision/FSA!

WHAT TO BRING 

Bike (duh), helmet, rear light, GPS computer, flat kit, ride fuel, and a couple water bottles.
